Metaphors: The big Snit

Identify some of the metaphors being used in Richard Condie’s “The big Snit”.

Admittedly i found this quite tricky, but i thought the best part to look into was the Scrabble game because the whole animation is based around this game of Scrabble.  I believe it may represent their marriage. He’s being quite frustrated and she’s thinking things are going fine and is quite happy in the moment until she finds her husband has disobeyed her trust and disappointed her (when he spoiled the game but cheating) But despite that no one has ended the game yet and when they make up they return to it for another go.

The butterfly at the start may represent the calm before the storm.

The skeleton news presenter is death.
